Looks like Blizz is launching patch 3.1 today.

When the client begins to download from the launch screen, please be advised that your patcher is not stuck. It may hang in the 67-70% range and this is normal. There is still some hefty downloading to do, so just be patient and let it go through the download process. You may also notice the patch notes screen is blank. That is an actual bug and the notes should pop up once the install process begins.

Mine completed i downloeded 80% of the patch prior to today as well as i hope many of you have

- no new talent calc on wow.com yet.. wowhead.com has a pretty up-to-date one however

I'm all downloaded and installed now on both computers. I really hope today is a clean patch day, lots of people have been looking forward to this.

Yeah man your not kidding i know i'm looking forward to it. It doesn't look so well for some realms they have extended down time as well as some servers went down early. I usually do OS/VoA today looks like that might be canceled or delayed till later tonight :[

It's what I refer to as, "no play patch day." Boooooooooooooooo. Hopefully we'll get another 1 day credit like we did when WOTLK came out.

The downtime was good for me :P I did some reading on addon development and started writing my own unit frame addon to help my resto druid.

All realms still down, can't even log in to the site because its "Down for Maintenance". More like it's down because they do not want the whiners to log in and ask why it's taking so long. In any case, as long as they get it done and have it running smoothly I will be happy, just give me my cred for the 1 day down time and don't let me get stuck with the fiasco that followed the WotLK download fiasco. Ugh! The sacrifices I made just to play! D=

Sooo they said the problems are fixed that they'll be informing us in a few minutes here if there servers are going to be online or not! :[

Realms are starting to come back slowly however upon logging in the character list failed to load. Looks like the maintenance will be going on for a bit longer.

Yeah i'm watching the realms go on and offline right now mine isn't even on the list of them going on and offline :[

This is Awful :( been sitting infront of my desk surfing and trying to log in for the past hours ... how boring ...

Looks like the realms are finally back up. Now to log on and see what fun new things is in store for us. :-)
