I ran into the same problem. Curse hasn't been updated yet, it looks like. It seems real slow, and can't find questguru in the search.
Here's a link for 3.1-compatible QuestGuru from WoWUI: http://wowui.incgamers.com/?m=4855&p=mod

Worthy of note: The author says that the quest history prior to 3.1.0 cannot be saved. If true (I haven't loaded the game yet), this is too bad. the History was half the reason I use QuestGuru. It makes it a lot easier when working toward the Loremaster Achievement.

It's sad that the history is not working but since I got used to the questguru tracker and quest window, I can't do anymore with blizzard's tracker lol.
Thanks so much DBrown!!

It also appears he removed the tracker. Thats the only reason I use this mod.

The standard Blizzard tracker is trash now. If you get one of those "go see so and so" types of quests, Blizzard's own quest log won't track it. My guess is that any addon will suffer from this shortfall.
I did notice, though, that for whatever reason QG did seem to retain my quest history.

History remained but I really miss the tracker. Does anyone have an alternative to suggest? At least just to use till the author makes a new tracker.....

Ok so before I update am I understanding everyone in that while QG has been updated for 3.1 on wowui that the tracker has been removed fro mthe mod ?
Is anyone sure this is infact what has happened or maybe just that no ones enabling it sicne it may have been re-set with a fresh install / re-install.
Edit: Judging fro mwhat I just read on wowui it seems that he removed the tracker but will make it a seperate addon. So if and when it gets released is up to him I suppose.

My history is still there, but the previous tracker is gone. However, when I pickup a new quest, it does open a new-looking tracker, which is in the background of the screen below the minimap. It is not possible to move this tracker around, in fact you can't clikc on it at all. Also, when I go into options of the tool, I do not see a way to disable this tracker. I mainly used QG for the history, so if I could figure out how to turn off this useless tracker that is in the way of other addons, I would still use this tool.

Guys, the tracker that's here now is the normal Blizzard tracker (the default WoW tracker). If you don't use it, you just can't have any tracker at all but you can move it. Just go in the interface options of the game and turn off the option that disable the mouseover for the tracker. You will then be able to move it out of the way of your addons and put it somewhere else.

I'm using QuestHelper's tracker as a temporary solution.

Quest Helper's tracker is fine with me, it is very smiliar to QuestGuru.. but I still wish they would fix QG.

Yeah QuestHelpers Tracker is an interim solution but I really miss the split into zones that QG had. Might have to have another look at nQuestlog and see if it works under 3.1.0. Here's hoping for a quick fix for QG though as I rekon it is an excellent addon.

I was a big fan of QuestGuru for the history and the tracker. I found a comment from the developer that he was going to make the tracker a seperate mod. I found references to a mod called Carbonite in doing searches. Down loaded and installed and I like it more that QuestGuru. Actually it allowed me to replace about 5 of the mods that I was using.

It was a fact, but the tracker came back in one of the last updates. I guess the aithor needed some time to work around the new blizzard tracker. I installed it again for my girlfriend but I'm like soso on the addon. When the tracker was down I came up on Carbonite (google it, I'm not linking ;) ) and I'm comparing both addons now, and currently, Carbon is gaining reputation with me. And btw, because of Blizzards new policies about addons, it got free. Yes there is still a "Download Free" and a "Download Today (Buy)' link, but when you click the download button you come across the account information page which says:
Carbonite is now available for download on our public download and donations page.
You do not Sign Up to download it anymore.
The Sign Up process is obsolete and will be removed at a later date.
I'm not trying to sell Carbonite, I'm just telling that it looks like a nice replacement for QuestGuru, you can even get rid of Questhelper it's two in one, maybe more, thats why its gaining rep for me. Apart from QH, both addons aren't hosted here anyway and Curse.com still is my main addon-home.
At your service,
Blue
