I have been trying to download some WoW addons updated for patch 3.1 and I know that other people are having success downloading them and in fact from a friends computer I even had luck. However, when trying to download them on my machine I keep getting a link expired error...
http://www.curse.com/content/LinkExpired.aspx
Anyone else still having this problem? I have tried clearing web cache and all of that.

Can you give me an example of one so that I can try it through the client please? Thanks.

Also, I am running Windows XP and I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox web browsers.

I have now tried it on a second machine on my network so it is connected to the same router and cable modem. The only difference is that it is a Mac. Using Firefox I am able to download the addons to the machine so for some reason it sees my PC differently.

Are you guys sitting behind proxies, multiple internet connections or similar setups?

For myself I have a cable modem that runs to my router with firewall and then that runs to my main managed switch which all my computers are connected to. I have tried downloading from multiple machines on my network and only my gaming PC is having this issue.

When you try to download, are you seeing just a flash button or a captcha?

Both, in Firefox and IE I see the flash button, in Chrome I see the Captcha, since I don't have Flash enabled for it.

For both Chrome and Firefox I see the orange 'Manual Install' button (after first clicking the orange 'Download' button bringing me to the actual download page). Clicking that brings me to the 'Link Expired' page http://www.curse.com/content/LinkExpired.aspx.

I think I know the problem now, if I'am right it's Adblock Plus

I don't think that is my problem. AFAIK Chrome doesn't have an AdBlock Plus equivalent, and if it does in the form of some addon, I am not using it. Further, I have used Chrome on 2 different systems now...just basic install, no additions. Works on one, doesn't work on mine. They were on different networks though.

Got it fixed! Please update to the latest Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.22.87
That solved my download problems with Firefox. Haven't tried IE, Chrome, Opera, etc.
P.S. ...and duplicate posts get more and more nasty ;-)

I'm getting this for a lot of my addons. It's bad enough curse blocked wowmatrix but this is pathetic having to install each one manually to find half I can't even access and I refuse point blank to use curse's own installer.

I am also getting this error. It doesn't seem to matter which computer, wether it's a mac or pc. Neither does it seem to matter what browser I am using or what addon I try to download. :(
