I have been on Curse for a long time.  I read articles, forums, browse for new addons, etc.  But to be frank, Curse client sucked so bad I stopped using it.  It kept overwriting my saved data, screwing up my configs, loading OLDER versions of addons etc.  I went through several versions before giving up and finding WOWMATRIX.  Blocking WOWMATRIX is a bogus noob move since they DON"T REALLY COPMPETE WITH CURSE!  There is almost no description of the addons, no reviews, no forums, no annoying extra item in my tray with WOWMATRIX so I was still COMING TO CURSE to read, to look at addons, and staring at YOUR SITE!

So, stop blocking WOWMATRIX please, I do not trust your client, it has burned me too many times.  And if you don't, you'll have at least one less person looking at your site, even if I have to change addons.

It wasn't about competition, if you'd bothered to read the well-written explanation the admins of Curse and WoWI gave regarding why WoWMatrix was blocked.  It was about WoWMatrix putting them in a position that was unsustainable, financially.  So the choice was either: block WoWMatrix, or eventually not be able to afford to provide the bandwidth WoWMatrix was stealing to anyone, and then no one would be able to get addons from the sites, whether via WoWMatrix, their own Clients, or directly via a web browser.

I agree, used to come here a lot but lately since wowhead endorsed wowinterface.com I've been going there for my addons.  The curse client has screwed me more than once since I don't throw WoW in the standard C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ directory...

I'll be using wowinterface from now on.

What about Mac users, I use osx 10.4, so i can't even use the Curse client or the Wowinterface client... When you go to download the wowinterface client it tells you that it may not work right?  Then why didn't you leave us with wowmatrix that worked perfectly.  I have over 200 addons and now you expect me to search for each one everyday because neither company that took down wowmatrix could get it right?  Sorry I'll never use another addon listed on either of your sites again, thanks alot for ruining the game for mac users..

lol of course wowhead endorses WowInterface... they are both owned by Zam network.
