Curse killed my comp

I installed curse the curse client update and it destroyed my computer.  Immediately after installing it, it took off and began auto updating everything. I didn't add any other programs.  My computer was working just fine before.  After a severe memory crash, I rebooted my computer only to find that I am now in a continuous boot loop.  I can't even get into windows.  Take this thing off my computer and fix it.

How can you post then?

According to our records your account is not premium and you have just installed the client, so the update-all functionality is intentionally disabled.  Could you please explain what you mean by auto updating everything then? Even premium users would have to click update-all, and non-premium users must update each one by one.

To remove any software, you would need to boot into windows first. If your computer is stuck in a boot cycle, try going starting up in safe mode then rebooting.

I am logged into this forum from a different computer.

All of my problems began after my intallation of the new updated curse.  I clicked on the new version.  It started the program, then automatically logged me in, which is not how I had it set up to before, and then it immediately began looking for updates, again which never happened before.  The video then went haywire.  When I click close on a menu it doesn't refresh the screen, keeping the old unclickable window open.  Even the desktop option to refresh didn't reset the windows.  The only menu I could get to was the bottom part of the start menu.  I was able to restart from the menu, only to come back into windows with the same issues.  I eventually could only do a hard reboot, which landed me in a boot loop.  It won't boot from the windows CD either.  When the option "To boot from CD, press any key..." appears, the keyboard doesn't work. I can get into the BIOS.  But, alternate boot sequences don't help.  The halt on error options don't make a difference either.

You do understand hardware can fail for a multiple of reasons.  Sounds like you had hardware fail on you.  I was playing World of Warcraft and watching a video when after never having a Blue Screen of Death Error for 3 years, crashed my computer, I spent the next 3 days trying to figure out what happen.

I had 2 sticks randomly become corrupt and there was no software at fault.  I strongly suggest you attempt you test your memory.
