As an author, I distributed my addons on 3 reputables website in the past, and slimmed down to 1 place for convinient purpose.

Anyway, people who aren't spending hundreds of hours coding addons should not even remotely think about asking an author why he choose a (or a few) website over anothers.
Insulting people is not the way to go, especially 16 year olds as I know quite a few that are mature for their age and conduct themselves a lot better than some people on these forums regardless of their ages. Just because a person's point of view differs does not make them childish in any way.
It would be nice to see mods and authors not getting so heated and keeping a cool head in such situations. :)
Thank you. That was my only point. I wasn't trying to brag, but to
eliminate contentious (and typically ignorant) remarks based on the
typical insults tossed around. Age, intellect, sexuality, etc.
Flisher, I'm not familiar with what addon you created/modified but I'm sure you put a lot of work into it. I appreciate the efforts of all authors for whatever part they have played in the development of the addons utilized by gamers. However, I'll reiterate what I said in my first post; the resources you used to learn how to code addons or how to do a particular function were more than likely found online and for free. That's not to say that you can't charge for them, but if everyone had that attitude then we'd likely not have as many advancements in web development, gaming development, coding languages, etc. Gratefully, not all developers share your thoughts. Also, I have every right to question why and where you submit your addon. Is it that insulting of a question? More likely is the obvious fact that you are defensive over the subject because you question yourself for your actions.
Bledandbeaten, your post is evidence of the ignorance I spoke of earlier. I defended Curse as not violating any TOS setup by Blizzard so your retort regarding that subject is invalid. WowMatrix is no more "stealing" addons than Curse or WowInterface or anyone else. The addons are made by hard working gamers (typically) who put their time and effort into the addon and have no direct relationship with any of these sites except to submit the addon for hosting. Your other comments regarding "GTFO" and "masturbation" are further proof of your ignorance as you couldn't have an enlightened discussion where your opinion isn't overwhelmingly accepted by everyone without uneducated insults. Based on that, I have no doubt that you truly are a waiter at the age of 23. However, consider your intellect challenged and failed.
