Hi Guys,

Today, I was downloading an update for your Curse Client. McAfee came up and reported the following issues to me.

"One or more items were detected on your computer.

Detection Name: New Malware.bm (Trojan)

File: C:\Program Files\Curse\CurseClient.exe

Process: C:\Program Files\Curse\CurseClientUpdater.exe

Process description: C:\Program Files\Curse\CurseClientUpdater.exe"

It then removed the curse client from its location and put it in its virus vault. I will send the file to McAfee and get them to see if it is a false detection or not. But I thought I might have to tell you guys as this is the first time this has happened to me.

lol you do know mcafee and norton are 2 of the worst programs to use if your a gamer

first : failed ... in the past times about norton yes , but at this time no...

it seems to be a false positive ;)

This should most definitely be a false positive, but I'll have it confirmed and see what we can do to fix it. 

False positive.

I scanned the installer from the website, as well as the curseclient.exe inside it, and no virus found.
