Gethermate (with the subpack gathermate Data) will show the nodes wowhead knows (as long as you regularly tell gathermate to "sync" with wowhead).

He will show the posible spawn locations for both at the same time, but the one you are tracking will be the only one to show the "yellow" dot.

I suggest getting a macro:

/castsequence Find Herbs, Find Minerals

and hit that one manually when you wanna switch between the two. Because gathermate does show the possible locations, you know where to go to, and just switch between the two yourself.

As for cartographer. I am pretty sure the author of cartographer choose to not update the tracking mobs anymore because of lack of time, so you'll need to switch to something else, and at the moment, I think gathermate is a really nice alternative.

Try Gathermate.. make sure you download the Datapack for it and read the FAQ in the settings.. it won't switch between them, but it will show you both I think.. and it's updated for WotLK..

It is not possible to show both at the same time. As for the node in Cart, the _Mining, _Fishing, and _Herbalism plugins have not been updated for WotLK, and so do not save any found nodes you come across.

Best bet is to switch (at least temporarily) to Gatherer. There is a database file you can get from the same site, but it doesn't have the Northrend nodes yet, but does save them when you come across them.

I do not know but it is driving me nuts to I just want to be able to find out were ores are a simple add on like quest helper. How about a mining map the same as questhelper anyone know of a good place to mine cuz i did put in gatherer and cartographer yet still nothing.

I have the exact same problem, and it's driving me nuts. There is no option I can see to 'enable' display of the mine/herb nodes. Is there anything else that is necessary besides installing Cartographer, Cart mining/herb and copying the note .lua files to /savedvariables?

Hmmm, maybe there is an option to enable them because they show up on the mini-map for me just fine.

Hmmm ... Installed Cartographer, Cartographer_Mining and _Herbalism, copied data files ... but none of the nodes show up on the maps :/

I don't know of an AddOn that does an auto switch like that, nor do I think it is possible.

Cartographer Mining/Herbalism will keep track of any Mining Nodes/Herbs you see in the world and will display the ones you know on your minimap whether you have tracking on or not. I know this isn't an optimal solution for you but it is probably the best one available.

Hello!

Anyone knows of an Add-on, that would allow to see Mining AND Herbalism nodes on the minimap? ...
- some dual-tracking abilities?
- simple automatic switcher that switches mining and herbalism tracking every 5-10sec?

Any ideas?
