I don't agree with you at all on the not many advanced jewelcrafters comment. I personally know 2 people who are already past 350 Jewelcrafting.. Dont know if they have maxed it out yet or not. We have tons of gems on the AH already though some of the prices are absolutely ridiculous.

At current, there aren't many advanced Jewelcrafters, however you can still purchase a fair amount of gems from vendors in various places. I would recommend checking out the Gems area on Thottbot. It allows you to select the colour of the gem you want, and then you can specify that you want to purchase it from a vendor etc.

There is a vendor in Honor Hold right inside the in for Alliance. The gems are low level but they are cheap and better than nothing at all. I am sure there is an equivalent in the horde city also.

If you don't know anybody who can craft them for you then yes, the auction house is the best place you are going to fight higher level gems for your armor.

The gems will tell you what sockets they fit into when you look at their tooltip.

I got a plate chest , and with a yellow and blue socket it gives something, I dont remember now.
I have also reseved things that need a red socket. But the thing is I dont know any high lvl jewelcrafter
and I dont know where I can find a vendor. All I heard was a vendor and maybe AH, but I never find out where.
Is it a secret? :-)

Are you asking what to put in the sockets?

There are a number of different gems that can either be bought from vendors, purchased from factions or jewelcrafters. These gems have different colors and if you use the correct colors you get a further bonus to the armor.

You get a nice drop of armor but you need all kind of colored sockets.
I havent a clue how to get it and I have ask ppl who have it on
but they dont answer me. So this is my last chance to get a answer.
Can someone tell me????
