I did a rewrite of AuldLangSyne and added a fubar functionality. So for anyone that was looking for a replacement. Download Unami on curse for anyone who was looking for a replacement.

It's been a while since I asked this question. :) I've since found something I like, which functions pretty much dead-on like AuldLangSyne. It's called NotesUNeed. Hope it works out for you folks.

To replace the Friends and Guild members list in fubar, you can try FriendFu and GuildFu.

For extended player notes, the only mod that currently springs to mind is Carbonite Quest which has "punks list" feature that allows you to add notes (and track) players without adding them to either friends or ignore lists.

Hoping Kemayo will update AuldLangSyne soon tho :)

Hello,

I used to have PlayerNotes and then AuldLangSyne installed to make notes about every player I encountered. Neither are working as intended now, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good replacement? Here's the thing: the notes need to be available to me without putting the player on my friend list or ignore list, which is where most addons that I find (for example, FriendsFacts) fall short.

People tend to ask me why I'd want notes about people who aren't on either list.... Well, say I'm pugging with a bit of an idiot. While he's not terrible enough to warrant an ignore, I don't want to group with him again if I have the choice. Or, another that I've used before is a guy who promised to DE our group's crap boss drops and "forgot." I mark crafter alts as well... that sort of thing. I liked PlayerNotes's ability to show the given note when you /who'd a person for this reason, but /pn decided to stop being a valid command at some point, and AuldLangSyne doesn't show me the "note" option in the player menu anymore.

Anyone have any ideas what I could install to replace this functionality? Thanks in advance... :)
