The difference between Gatherer and GatherMate is that GM tracks fish nodes, herbs, and mines. Gatherer does mines and herbs, but not fish. And yes, both have the database from WowHead, so they are very similar.

I think Gatherer will do it too. I don't know how it compares to GatherMate because I've never used it, but I'm going to try it now because I'm intrigued by the WoWHeadDB portion.

EDIT: Apparently Gatherer has a WoWHeadDB portion as well, so I'm sticking with it for the time being.

Is there an add-on that will keep track of all nodes that I have previously mined and keep them on a map? Does anyone know of 1 or could someone make 1?
