No, Bartender4 makes it so that I can't right click on avatars in instnaces, it makes Quest Helper not work correctly. It has nothing to do with with the way it handles the UI, it is actually broken.

How so? Use /bar or the minimap button to configure it, moving the bars as you see fit. If you don't like BT4, you could try Dominos; however, all bar mods are fairly similar.

Thanks guys, I really loved using bartender4, but it's really broken and messed up my UI beyond belife. Anything else like that you recommend?

Correction, RedRange was written by Iriel, and is not using the Ace libraries at all.

The Ace libraries are also not an acronym.

OmniCC handles cooldown counts but I don't believe it has anything to do with range checks. RedRange is a solid ACE based mod that will recolor abilities if your target is out of range. Remember, no range recolor addon is absolutely perfect. Sometimes it is off a few feet.

Most bar mods have this feature, but if you don't have a bar mod, or just want something that is less glaring but still red and obvious, try OmniCC

I'd totally recommend to use Bartender4 anyways, using the stock interface action bars is a waste of screen space and very bulky. Move them around, scale them and make them transparent when not moused over, in short: change your Fiat Panda (1989 model) to something more sophisticated.

Haha, no offense, I'm just always astonished seeing how many people still use the stock action bars, which really are a klutz.

RangeRecolor will do it. Also most of the ActionBar replacements will do it like Barender4.

Is there any addon that makes whole action button red when a target is out of range?

Really that's all I want to do, the little number only being red gives me eye strain :(
