I do think that Curse is a secure website I can only tell you about one of the ads I have seen seemed to be questionable. In fact I do think this is the best website I have ever been to! One other possibility would be a leveling service which I hope you didn't use. Snoop Free best keylogger detector/eliminator available .

Thanks for the responses
Your confidence in curse.com is reassuring, and the fact that I can find nothing on my system leaves me completely stumped as to how my account was compromised
I have really appreciated the advantages of using the curse install client, and if I do keep playing wow when this is all over, I hope to keep using it
I'll give Kapersky a go, but I don't expect it will find anything either.

There are no known issues like those Afk are claiming here on Curse.com. If there was, we would see a lot more reports and I would have it as well. But I don't. It's unfortunate to hear that your account got "hacked" -- there's only a few possibilities though. Keylogger, from an application (NOT an addon, unless it was an .exe file), a suspicious site (although, if you have a decent anti-virus it should block such things, also use Firefox.. not Internet Explorer) and/or a friend with your logins and/or someone else figuring out what logins you used due to knowing you.

To find out if you have a keylogger, I suggest scanning with Kaspersky, it's easily one of the best programs out there. http://www.kaspersky.com.

There have been ( I think some malware) on this website advertisements that havent been normally on this website have been on for a couple of days. One of them being your p.c. is currently infected....please scan now. This ad is known to be a deployment for a trojan package , malware. I am honestly not sure that this is your problem, A good antivrus program is always helpful. Good luck !

My WoW account was hacked last night, and is currently suspended

Any tips on how to go about confirming whether I have a keylogger on my system?

Coincidentally perhaps I had installed only a few hours previously the latest version of damagemeters, so my first thought was that this MOD was responsible

I have scanned with AVG and spybot Search and destroy, and widows defender and found nothing

It would be troubling indeed if I was unable to track down a loggeron my system, as without an explanation I'll have litle confidence in being able to prevent a further incident
