Same issue with me. Login and it locks hard. And I'm on Linux/Wine. Ah, I see. It seems to be getting hung on "Updating latest client", even though I disabled that option before login.

It sounds like one of the files is getting corrupted somehow.

I was having the same problem and I deleted all files in the Users\[username]\AppData\Local\CurseClient folder and this seems to have fixed the crashing problem. You will however have to resupply login creds

deleting all files in appdata\local\curseclient (or whatever it is named) worked for me. No crashes.

The client is crashing on start-up. I have tried uninstalling and deleting personal settings and reinstalling.

For me the solution was to delete all the files in the AppData directory. Now it works again on windows 7

Curse was working proper but has now stopped lauching even with admin. I reinstalled, did not help. I am runnibng windows 7 and have been for several months with no problems. Suggestions?

Guess I spoke too soon, worked fine for the last two days. Upon boot just now, same problem occurs.

Hello again. I don't know if mailing the curseclient.log file to the email address on Adamar's original post was the the cure, but the following day everything was working properly again.

hi for the past two days i each time i load up curse client it crashes i have read threw the forum trying what was told to others and nothing seems to work i just reinstulled it thinkin that would get it to work but it didnt. i am running vista

Yes, my problems started earlier this week. Uninstallled, download most recent client (3.0.0.9) and reinstalled. Followed all recommendations in thread, still receiving error.

OS: Vista 64 - SP2

What else would you like to know?
