Hello, Curse people! I have a small question regarding the images/textures and models that are used on your database sites. (I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section)

As far as I know, it is against the terms of use to reverse engineer any of the game files for most of the games out on the market today. So my question is: how are you circumventing this? I'm guessing that the textures and models on your database sites are taking directly from the game files since I can't really see another way to extract such data. (the curse client can record data but it doesn't save any of the actual files, right?)

Maybe you want to call it a trade secret or something but I'm curious how you make it on the legal side of things.

my whole pc crashed and i had to re-dl my os. while i was downloading wow i tried to dl curse client too. it made things too slow and i stopped it, i also stopped it from doing the rollback. now it give me an error message that says theres an active .exe, then it starts rolling back and says fatal error and gives me this message

On my project "Wintergrasper Advanced" is there a way i can wipe the comments section so I can reopen it? The whole "blizzard is screwing mod authors" incedent really got a lot of crap posted on my comments section. I looked though all my control panels and what-not but was unable to find anything to allow this.

If someone could point me where I can do this or ask someone higher up than me who could I would be very pleased.

I have posted that I have an addon update to the Author of Tank Warnings, they responded but said they didnt get the update. So I re-emailed it, and have got no responce, is there a way I can upload the update since I recieved an email today asking for it?

I have no desire to maintain this addon but this update is usefull to the DK tanks out there since it was missing a very important DK tanking talent.

How does the profiler work? Why is some data up to date, not other?

I noticed this with my WAR profile. My guild recently switched server, so the profile showed still the old server. Probably made a few wardb updates in the meantime. Didn't show the new server. Dinged in the meantime. Now the new server is shown, but still my old rank.

Is that simply a delay in the db-updating? Or are only parts being updated?

Maybe i should pose my q different:

How often is the db updated after receiving new data, and what (if not all) is updated?

i recently switched from wow matrix to curse....there r mods i use that curse does not have....i downloaded them (lightheaded, epuipcompare and many more) it shows that all the addons r there and all out of date r loaded...but the addons r not showing in my game...i have windows xp....please help
