Combat numbers are messy...

Logged back on today to play my conq and man was it numbers messy. It started out as just swinging my weapon until the mob dropped and change direction on combo when enemy shield is high on one side.

I was wondering if it was possible to change the combat text.

Here's some ideas I thought of:

1) When hitting an enemy on a no shield side, the numbers are white. If 1 shield is present, the color of the damage is of a slight different color so that it's noticable that you're hitting on a side with shields and a darker color for more shields. And also, when recieving damage, show a lighter red to tell us that damage done to us was reduced due to shields on certain direction. I can't tell if I'm getting hit from which direction and is it making a difference.

2) Shorten the speed that the number float but dissappear a little quicker, because when playing on my wife's DT, I just saw a whole bunch of green numbers flying along with red and white. Also, if possible, to be able to customize it so that we can control the numbers flying on side that we choose. Somewhat like Scrolling Combat Text from World of Warcraft.

3) ...argh can't think of anymore....will come back to it.
