I cant seem to get Healbot/xperl or deadly boss mods  addons to work on my mac!  Ive downloaded recount, omen, fishing buddy and crapaway and installed them into my interface/addon folder and they work fine.  any help out there? Is there a unit frames/raid frames addon that people are using w/ success on a mac?

Adddon are interchangable between Mac and PC, there is no difference. The addons you listed as having difficulties contain more than one folder. For example, you should see

\addons\dbm

            \dbm_naxx

            \dbm_ulda

or something similar. IF you only see one folder then something is not right, and you will have to pull out all the related folders.
