I can tell you right away I haven't tested it on Vista at all. I don't even have access to a Vista machine. Anyone else running it successfully on Vista?

It just gives me the page saying:
"Currently Curse only supports automatic profiling for World of Warcraft and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes characters. To submit your character information for these games you will need to download our client.
The characters are still in a beta phase and we will be adding features and updates regularly, as well as adding the ability to submit information on characters for games which do not have automatic profiling."

Updater isnt working correctly for me either and I'm on XP: it's not u/l'ing new items. I go to my profile and it shows items on my character that I just got which are older than pieces that aren't in the DB that I am wearing, so it just keeps the older items as equiped. Any suggestions?

Is there any point in running the program until the update is released, as in does it save information that's not being uploaded or does it only send info as it encounters it? Any ETA on the update?

Well the updates are server side, I'm sure the bug asp was talking about is most likely already fixed :)

Hi all, Sorry to necro such an old post. I am using Vista Home Premium x64 and I notice my characters have not been updating either, since December 07.
I had Curse installed on two computers and one of them using XP Professional. The Professional has since been retired. I had uninstalled and reinstalled Curse on this Vista PC. I notice the Client tries to update when the PC restarts. Normally I don't see any other updates, sometimes I will get a message that a WoW package is ready but not installed because I have the WoW option unchecked (I did that on purpose)
How can I tell that curse is working in my machine for Vanguard?

As for now curse client doesn't update curse database at all. Not from Vista, not from XP not from . This is not because of the operating system, this is because of the curse client. You would've known that if you would read at least 2 last threads..
It been alrteady almost 4 moths and for all this time we trying to get curse client devs attention and fix the problem for us:

Run the client as admin in Vista and change the security settings of your entire WoW folder to full control for users. I was then able to use the client just find to install addons.
