I was trying to figure out how to set filters on item database search but that does not seem to exist. If I'm missing something obvious, please knock me on the head and point me in the right direction. Otherwise, please add filters...heh. Basically, I'd love to do a search for items that can be crafted by artificers (simply to see what lies ahead for me). Thanks.

Sounds good. Yea, a crafted-type filter would be very useful (e.g. minerologist, armorer) would be awesome.

i just started with the upload tool yesterday and i am a outfitter. i am finding the site great, i can see the stats on a item before i make it,
And also the site has made finding nodes so much easier it great. Keep up the good work.
Edit: also when searching entities, in the filter drop down box there is no actual filter for monster, this a bug or am i missing something?

There's actually no monster type. You could add an attackable filter but that tends to give a lot of yellow guards and other crap. I guess guards are mobs as well if they can be attacked though =P

I would also like to have a more searchable filter system. Like item level, obtained from quest/mob/artisan, rarity, stats, location, NPC's associated with, slot, type, class usability. With minimum or max values for each. Basically everything you could want to know about any item, quest, and mob in the game. I think one of the other Curse-gaming game sites has a very filterable database search.
Thanks,
Mal

I think we already have all that ;) Just happens to be very very well hidden. It's a link called filters at the top,

The only Filters link on top of the Item database gives this link:
http://vg-en.curse-gaming.com/database/items/#
Which then takes you back to the main items page at "A".
Is there another filter link that works that I am missing?

Is it possible to have an AC filter added?

I dont know if it has been already told but a "weapon type" and "armor parts" filter would be very nice. To look for only "Longsword" or "Heavy armor wrists". :)

Hi, I just want to start and say that this is a great site and resource.
I noticed that I can filter on multiple criteria, but that they are combined as "or" statements rather than "and" statements. Is that right? Is there a way for me to search items based on the "and" criteria? So, all items for psionicists that are +10 INT AND +10 Spell Damage Focus? Right now, putting both filters in returns items that meet either criteria, rather than both.
Thanks!

It should be AND afaik. I don't think many people would want to do an OR search.

Hmm you seem to be correct... Adding more filters increases the number of matches. Which is of course wrong. I'll get it fixed when I get to the office.

Much obliged...I'll be loading the software on my home computer tonight to help build the database. Thanks again!

Hi, any update on the ETA for this fix? It's still an "OR" function. Thanks again!

Yepp I know. It's going in for the version 4.0 launch of the site. Basically we're at crunch time here atm.

I'd like a way to *Exclude* crafted items.
Oh, and searching item drops by zone would be nice.

an attackable filter would be better than nothing: at the moment we have to search through everything including harvestables, mailboxes, altars, etc when we're looking for a mob.
