i keep getting warnings to update addons that i have already updated and there is no new update. how do i stop my client from being retarded?

Click the dialog, click Download, click Install With Curse Package thingie. If you're doing that and it's still being retarded you can come back here and say "NOOOOO! WROOOOOONG! BUUUUUG!" and I'll go in and try to find out what could be going wrong.

No problem. I suspect the fact that people are missing this is somewhat my fault. Maybe it should be made clearer somehow.
