well, hello curse.com. i seem to be having a small issue with the curse client.
ive been using the curse client for a little while, then stopped using it. during that time i stopped using it i had to format my hard drive, and when i reinstalled windows, i also reinstalled WoW. i hadnt began to use the curse client yet. anyway, a while later, i went out and decided to buy a new keyboard. the keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000. if you look up pictures of it, you'll see at the top of the keyboard that there are 5 buttons, each labeled from 1-5. this is where the problem lies.
anyway, a short while after that i installed the curse client, because i got tired of manually installing WoW addons. during set up (and also out of setup, mind you) i told it not to select any keys to search the Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and World of Warcraft databases, because i dont wish to use that feature.
if i press the favorites button labeled "1" it still brings up the vanguard DB search box, then when i click close it takes me to the favorited website. button "2" does the same thing, but for WoW. scratch that, i just tried 1-5 and they ALL bring up the box to search the vanguard DB. i just checked from the curse client icon in the system tray, both searches are set to "None" for the key binding.
im very experienced with pc's, but i havent found a way to fix this, at least there is no obvious way. id assume that None would mean none, not "set to favorites keys..."
if someone could please help me with this issue, i would be greatly appreciative.
