I think it goes there automatically, you dun' have to specify the install path. that button doesn't work for me as well, but all my addons for WoW go into the folder automatically.

Confirmed, I was trying to be smart and didn't go back to test old functionality. There will be a fixed version uploaded Monday.

this really needs to be fixxed, its not going to the correct directory and doesn't install anything so i have to do it manually. I understand that things are a bit busy today with the patch and all, but based on the previous reply it should be atleast close to being done seeings how it was supposed to be uploaded yesterday?

Can't push this during patch day. It was fixed when i posted which was during a weekend :P Thursday is probably the next window for me.
If you are in an absolute panic over this:
Start regedit
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Curse
Create / edit the reg key string wowInstallPath and set it to the correct one.

Might want to add for those having trouble with the regedit part, I noticed that you had to use front slashes / not backslashes \
ALso, you need to have a trailing slash at the end.
So, for me the string was "D:/Games/WoW/" not D:\Games\WoW

I'm going to put out a fixed version tomorrow just for this issue.. It doesn't affect a huge amount of people but it really should be addressed.
