Windows Vista Administrator Account

Hmm. So you say it dont work if you not activating "Windows Vista Administrator Account"

then i suggest you stop making this client.

You shuld not tell anyone to activate this, its a security risk to use administrator account.

Thats what i have been learnd in school..

I may be wrong in this but want some response :)

Whilst the Windows Vista Administrator Account does provide added security to your system - by preventing users from performing certain functions - it by no means leads to the total demise of security in Windows Vista.

If you aren't confident wiht activating the admin account, then don't activate it. The client may well function the way you need it to without the admin account being active.

It's still possible the client can function without the admin account running, but we've had reports of it not working in some cases.  It's the main reason we created the Vista Tips page, as it was a solution we found worked for those users who had issues getting the client to work properly under Windows Vista.

Mostly issues with installing addons, yes.

Curse Client Developers, please take a look at my suggestion of creating a Task in the Task Scheduler which allows running an application with full admin rights.

I believe this alternative is "safer" than enabling the local administrator account on a Windows Vista machine.

The upside to this is that the UAC prompt will also not come up for a task.
