Addons and their libraries question

Hello everyone, I'm afraid I have a question...

Suppose that I have installed a few addons. Those addons each come with some libraries inside their /lib/ folders.

Now, would it be a good idea to delete all the common libraries and installing them as if they were an addon?

Example:

CowTip comes with a bunch of libraries, one of them being LibDogTag-3.0. If I delete it from the /lib/ folder and install it through the curse client as if it was an addon (inside the /AddOns/ folder), would it improve the ingame performance at all?

Theoretically it is possible, but only if every addon that uses that libarary is 100% compatible with that version.

As an example:

Addon-X uses the version of LibDogTag-3.0 "WoW-3.0-release"

Addon-Y uses the version of LibDogTag-3.0 "WoW-3.0-release-2"

As long as "WoW-3.0-release-2" is backwards compatible with "WoW-3.0-release" then there will be no issues.

With the rate of changes made to addons and there respective libaries I wouldn't suggest it as it will just cause you problems.

Just as a side note those are actual versions of LibDogTag-3.0, there have been six versions released (combining those tagged Alpha, Beta, & Released) since WOTLK was released.
