for some reason when i try loging onto the curse client, it comes up with" an unknown error occured contacting the server".  i am new and i have no idea if this is me or just somehting that usualy happens. 

please help?

It might be still the heavy load on Curse – and I'm fairly certain other addon sites as well – because of patch day. Everybody wants their addons and they want them now! ;-)

If the problem persists in a day or two (and keep trying in the meantime) let us know. Unless, of course, Curse staff corrects me. That's always possible.
