Fixed: Crash On Startup

If you were experiencing a crash shortly after startup, during the "Updatong addons..." message, please relaunch the client. I have posted a server-side fix which should correct this.

Is there any update to this?

 

I just installed today and it seems to continue to crash after login. Relauching for last 30 minutes results in the same thing

Mine is doing the same thing. I have reinstalled and it will not get past the updating addons before it crashes. What else can we do?

I'm afraid it isnt fix. I've been waiting a week just incase but the client still crashes on start up. I've reinstalled and still the same problem. Please fix.

an you guys e-mail your CurseClient.log file to client@curse.com ?

You can find it in the following location, depending on your operating system.

For Vista: C:\Users\[Your Windows Login]\AppData\Local\CurseClient\CurseClient.log

For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings \[Your Windows Login]\Local Settings\Application Data\CurseClient.log

Note: By default Windows hides these folders.

This issue still persists. If you're going to block other working programs from allowing users to update addons, make sure your own is working first.

No logs are being printed with error messages and no erros are pushed through to the terminal on crash either.
