There really isn't any simple answer to this question.

If you want superficial customization and ease of use, take Mac\Blizzard's UI.
If you want some customization without having to work too much at it, Windows\X-Perl\most unit frames.
If you want as much control as possible, with user-friendliness a distant second priority, Linux\Pitbull.

PitBull

If you want as much control as possible, with user-friendly a distant second priority I would suggest going with pitbull as its highly customizable howerver if you don't know what your doing can be a nightmare

X-Perl

Simple to use and gets the job done and is perfect for simply doing what its job is (unitframe work), with out the overheavly config that you need to be a master in wowetic to use

Ag_Unitframes

I would have to say I like this unitframes mod however out of the choices you have  questions about  the real question is.

Do You want a Unitframe or do you want a controled Unitframe

Its really all up to you  because anyone and everyone can give you pros and cons of any addon regardless what its function is but with a Uintframe it comes down to user perf, What do you like, and want to use. Also Just because people are having problems with something don't mean its not good to use, Everything has its bugs.

Add Vuhdo to the list http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/vuhdo.aspx ;  if you have a healer or are a raid leader

I use X-Perl for my out of raids but in raids Vuhdo is very strong with an author who updates regularly. Read the description at the thread. It will take you a few minutes to set up to your liking. Well worth it in the long run. Pitbull just has to many bugs and an author with to much on his plate imo.
