Hey Elsia. Recount is my single favorite addon I've gotten for WoW, but I'm having a bit of a problem with it right now. Earlier today, the addon wouldn't show up in the game. I've tried reinstalling it in Curse, and I tried typing /recount, /recount show and everything else, and all I get is the WoW /help suggestion. It's as if the addon isn't even in the game. I was hoping you could reply to this message with any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thank you for your time, and keep up the good work ;)

Great addon...been using it for awhile now and I love how you've helped us become better at the game!
Is it possible to create an extension to Recount that can tell who pulled a mob/boss/etc...? Not by using threat, but damage or action by a player. In other words, not only do I want to catch the person who made an honest mistake, but also the Hunter that MD'd to the tank to just "speed things up" while the raid leader is explaining things or half the raid is on an official AFK or rezzing.
Agree with ichdurfte. Recount is a wonderfull tool, but raid leaders could have an option to hide raid members recount window in combat. Sorry my spelling :-)
Your mod is great and all, but I have raid members who do nothing but watch meters and won't interrupt or do their job in the raid because of this. Can you make a mod that will allow raid leaders to scramble the data when they need to? Possibly togglable. Currently I have a macro that injects false data into the combat log, but it takes incredibly long to hand-add everyone in the raid to the macro.
First, thank you for your wonderful addon. It is great and I have been using it for years. My recount just stopped recording for one of my toons but not any of the others. I have tried removing the WTF files and that did not remove the problem. Any way I can get it back for that toon?
Hello Elsia, First of all, allow me to thank you for your wonderful addon. It really is great. What I wanted to ask you, is for an option to merge Shaman's Healing Stream totem with the person's overall (effective) healing. Right now I don't know neither how to reflect Healing Stream totem on recount, nor merge it with my own healing. The reason I ask, is bebause Druid HoTs that do about 60% of overhealing are reflected in Druid's healing, but Shaman's Healing Stream is disregarded. It would be only fair to have our Healing Stream register on Effective healing. Thanks in advance!

I love recount, but I have a question. One one server, I have more font and bar style choices then on another server, and I was wondering why that is. Is that a bug I need to fix, or are there simply inherently more choices for RP realms?
hello elsia, first thing first thank u for keeping this great addon alive after 2.4 this is my first commenting and i only want one thing plz release recount with an open license so we can use it with cross-site updaters like wow-matrix this would be a great way to get this wonderfull app to more ppl again thanks for the good work

The last FAQ is hilarious, but I am having the same problem that aljiensen is, I did everything you told me and nothing. But when I had it up the first time it worked really well and was very helpful.
I'd like to start by saying thank you for recount. Now the problem. I have a hard time understanding how to get it to work. But its not just me. People in my guild say the same thing, getting it to work is somewhat confusing.
As a Disc Priest I love your Guessed Absorbs addon. However, posting healing meters AND absorb meters and then expecting everyone to do the math in their head to recalculate the raid impact of each healer / mitigator makes it less impactful. Is is possible to create an additional field in Recount that adds "Healing Done" with "Guessed Absorbed" to get a total "Healing + Absorbs" Impact? If it already exist somewhere, I apologize but I can't find anything. If this does not exist, I would be willing to tip you $100 if it is something relatively easy. Thanks for your time!
I am having a problem with losing my recount window. I suspect that I drug it off the screen and can't recover it. I've tried the usual fixes /recount show and /recount resetpos. I had this problem once before and an IT friend of mine gave me long sequence to input, but I don't remember what it was. Any help? And I did uninstall, and reinstall using the curse client...no luck.
Hello, I have been using Recount for quite some time now. I also use WoWMatrix to update my addons, and have recently run into a problem. With the launch of patch 3.1, Curse and WoWInterface began to block WoWMatrix from downloading addons from their databases. If you are interested in why they did this and the steps WoWInterface tried to take, you can read about them here: http://www.wowmatrix.com/faq/site-updates.html. In the end, Curse and WoWInterface declined all of WoWMatrix's offers, so now any addon that is only hosted on these sites is not available for download using the WoWMatrix client. WoWMatrix is willing to host any addon on their own servers so that they can continue providing downloads through their client, and I (and many other WoWMatrix users!) would appreciate it if you would get them to host Recount as well! Dear Addon author I wanted to report a bug/missing on recount addon For DK spell gargouille, dancing sword and goule when not a pet, damage are not reported and added to recount Is there anyway to fix that in order to add these damage to DK?
