After the slew of posts regarding Curse 'forcing' users to pay to use the client, I've decided to do a little experiment, and terminate my own Premium access, forcing me to use the same free client that most of the users will be. Each night when I actually get to play, I'm going to use the Curse Client to update my addons, and post how many I updated, how long it took, etc. One problem - I'm not currently running as many addons as some users, so I'll need to fix that. I'm currently playing a 68 DK, levelling up and working on Mining and Jewelcrafting. I also occasionally play a low level Paladin with my wife. Here's what I'm running already: Archerus Runes Aucitoneer Curse Profiler G15 Buttons Gatherer QuestHelper Recount SellJunk TrinketMenu ZOMGBuffs I want to get the number of installed addons up a bit, but thought I'd get some community input so its more representative of what you guys run. here a couple addons I run. Ace3,Fubar w/9 attachments, recount, Natur enemycast bar, buggrabber, bugsack, autorepair, bankitems, bigbrother, castyeller, classloot, Clique, DBM, debuffalarm, decursive, examiner, grid, hotcandy, ItemRack, Omen, Ratingbuster, rolltacker lite, sell o matic, stack pack, talented, whodrops, whohas, xperl, cartographer, runewatch,postal, atlasloot enchanced.(Questhelper and lightheaded for leveling while questing)
That is what I use for Druid-balance/healing, DK, and Rogue and the addons I use in raids so you can call that the normal list. Some people might have more or less, but you can use that and get a very good record. Just for the record I let one of my computers go for 1 week without updating the addons and I can tell you it sucks to do the addons one at a time.
