Recently I decided I needed an addon that would collect data on items i selected and allow me to view the data for that time period at a later date, specifically on a graph. The idea came from the Market Data, available inside the EVE online game. I figured that for WOW, this would be pretty handy, I could easily watch the trends of items and their prices, allowing me to decide when to buy and when to sell easier, for long term buys anyway. The problem came when I couldn't find one. I spent over 30 hours total, looking around for an addon that did something even remotely similar to that. I thought it was rediculous that no one had done anything close. Eventually I found a website, the site contained information on the general trend of certain items, but it only covered Alliance side (not an issue for me because most of my characters are in fact alliance.) On top of that it also only covered certain servers (mine not being one of them,) and it was hard to get just the data for one server...
