The trouble with leveling

The problem that I have had with leveling my character is the rudeness of other people. The problem is that when I am fixing to hit the monster, and other people see me run towards it, they hit it from afar so that they get the experience if I happen to hit it next. Therefore taking my kill. This happens way to often in the outlands I have noticed. Another thing that makes me tottally mad, is the fact that I go to kill some enemies near a ore tht I would like to mine. While I"m killing, someone else runs up and steals the freaking ore. Hello! I ain't killing for anything.
