I recall I once saw an addon where I could set the size of the 3D portion of the screen and use the rest of the screen for chatframes, actionbars etc. Say I want to run the game in 1600x1200 pixels (4:3) fullscreen resolution but I only want the 3D portion of the game to use 1600x900 pixels (16:9). That leaves me 1600x300 pixels where I can put chatframes
