The Curse Client takes two times as long to scour the addon database and come up with a list of upgrades. The Wowmatrix client did it in nearly half the time and was scanning four different internet sources. Since the CC is only checking with one single source, any chance you could cut its load-up time by say, one fourth?

As I am at work and didn't bring a list, the only example I can remember is OmniCC. I had previously installed and updated this with WM, but last night along with all my other addons, I used the Curse Client to OVERINSTALL all of them so that CC could then take over the management of them. About 5 of them did not work, so I went into my addons folder

mobinfo3 is hosted, hasn't been updated in forever, and the author has disabled comments. Am I wrong to be afraid of installing an addon whose author doesn't care to let users leave comments? Mobinfo2 seems to continue to work just fine, but Id hate to lose 3 years of accumulated data by having to switch to another similar addon.

I've tried to ID what addon does this and I can't. Everytime I pick something up, on the lower portion of my screen in large block letters it says: "HEAVY LEATHER " with the appropriately updated item count. The size of the text is nearly the width of the screen itself. any ideas?
