Word of Warcraft Related suggestion for Curse Client

Guild Add-on Package(s) w/ Guild Member Add-on verification

1. Allow GM/Officers to create a Guild Add-On package by creating a Guild specific List using a Shopping Cart processes. Once the Guild Add-On Shopping cart is ready, provide the package name then upload it (Add-on pointers only) to Cursed.com automatically. This would be associated with the Curse Members Guild name, Server name (drop down) and ID, stated in their profile.

2. This and other Guild Add-On Packages would be made available for download to Cursed Members based upon the Server, ID, and Guild name in their profile.

3. Curse Client would be the desired delivery/installation tool used and could also be used to create the Guild Add-on Bundle list from the existing Add-On(s) found on the Officer/GM’s computer.

3.A. For Security purposes, I recommend this tool to collect the members rank from the Cursed Wow Add-on (Encrypt it to prevent tampering) and this would be used as the control mechanism as to who can updates the packages(s) and is allowed to download/install them. These securities would be setup by the Guild GM from a Guild Member Rank Admin Menu.

3.B. Curse Client would alert the members that there are Guild Add-On(s) to be installed and if it’s mandatory or optional.

Advantages to this would be;

A. All downloads would be pulling from one set of master files instead of files that contain copies of masters that could be outdated. The package would only contain pointers to the Master files location for download.

B. The Curse Wow Add-on could be used as

B.1. Reminder to Guild Members to install Guild Add-on Packages by a GM specified date.

B.2. Inform Guild GM/Officers who in their Guild has or has not installed these packages.

B.2.1. The Curse Wow add-on would be updated from the Curse Updater Client polling member’s information in the GMs Guild.
