Now I found out what my problem REALLY was: not MoveAnything clashing with Trinity Bars--I did not even have Trinity added, I had TitanBar instead--and not MoveAnything clashing with anything else. It was TitanBar, and the only thing wrong was that I mistook TitanBar for MoveAnything!
So, what look to me like an immovable MoveAnything, was actually a TitanBar that I forgot was there. I guess I learned a 4th thing: don't confuse one mod for another. That can happen when you load a pile of mods. I did not add any mod package that was made by a trustworthy party, I just picked my mods one at a time and then loaded several at once. I was not careful.
My sincere apology to MoveAnything and its creators.
Just by accident I found a way around it. 2 other mods I forgot to mention were installed, ArcHUD and Trinity Bars, so I deleted them since I could not use them. My good old screen setup is back to its default, as if the mods were never there. MoveAnything is not a bad mod, it's just a bit complicated for me. The problem looked like the mod got stuck inside like old gum, but it was closer to getting stuck to the other mods, probably because of their code.
I have learned 3 things today: don't panic, the problem may not be as bad as it looks; let your boredom work for you, if you must face a WoW-less weekend; and, especially for those with as little experience as me, try out only one mod at a time.
So, MoveAnything actually does have an "undo all" function of a sort, it can uninstall neatly, and I did get to move everything back.
I just began using mods to customize my Wow. Several mods were simple to install, use, and uninstall, to I could switch things around as I please. Then I tried a mod which made me take a long break from playing: MoveAnything.
This is my comment about MoveAnything:
MoveAnything is an excellent idea, but the mod could be improved. It lacks an "undo all" function. I tried it, found freedom to rearrange my setup any way I knew how.....then I did not like the result. I guess the best customization mod is only as good as the customizer, since I don't know how to do much. It won't uninstall like a mod should, and my screen is unplayable.
2 things I want to be able to do: uninstall it just like most other mods; and get my setup back to the way it was. Could you add these features in a future update? Or at least a plugin that saves or backs up a setup?
Any advice for now? I cannot get rid of MoveAnything, but I could live with it, if only I could Move Everything back.
